German-style Dark Strong Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels, 11,5%

To celebrate our 100th brew, we have brewed this Adambier - an old German style of strong ale, rooted in the tradition of the city of Dortmund. It is a rich, dark and satisfying ale, brewed with a wide range of different malts - both caramelized, roasted and smoked - to create a complex ale with notes of dark fruits, leather, honey and chocolate.
We then aged this Adambier for 16 months in bourbon barrels, expanding the scope of its complexity even further, adding notes of coconut, vanilla, toasted oak and tobacco.
